At the time of the lapse of this lease by any of its terms or provisions, Lessee agrees to promptly execute and deliver to Lessor, or file for record in the public land records office of the county and state where this property lies, a written release and surrender of this lease save and except that portion maintained by virtue of any provisions of this lease.
